In the AIOLOS Project, Quinten Health central focus revolves around Data Preparation, AI and bringing healthcare expertise to help build an AI monitoring tool to track viral epidemics.
We had the occasion to highlight the collective initiatives of the AIOLOS project with an informative poster at ISPOR Europe 2023. This poster aims to provide an overview of the accomplishments achieved within the first year, presenting the successful development of a Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
The AIOLOS web-based platform, an advanced AI monitoring tool, employs integrative modeling techniques, drawing insights from diverse data sources to identify and track viral epidemics, with a particular emphasis on monitoring COVID-19 trends in France and Germany.
This first iteration of the tool interactive dashboards has demonstrated promising results, notably in highlighting and quantifying the significance of wastewater data in predicting pandemic waves. Additionally, it sheds light on the nuanced impact of social distancing measures and vaccination campaigns on epidemic trajectories.
These findings position AIOLOS as a potential EU-wide public health decision support tool, with continuous enhancements on the horizon. The ongoing improvements underscore our commitment to refining the platform’s capabilities and solidifying its role in bolstering public health initiatives.
Quinten Health plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless data integration into pipelines, facilitating intricate modeling processes that contribute to the project’s overarching goals.
Explore the intricacies of our progress through the showcased poster: “Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools for Outbreak Detection and Response: A Transnational Platform for Surveillance, Monitoring and Decision Support.”. Its representation encapsulates the essence of our collective endeavors and sets the stage for further advancements in the realm of healthcare analytics and epidemic prediction.
